Natural texture is back, and not just a little bit. From the catwalks to the streets: curls, waves, and even the slightest bend are allowed to be there again, without blow-drying them flat or hiding them. Our stylist Nancy has been saying it for years: many people don't even know they have curls or beautiful waves until their hair is cut correctly for the first time. That's exactly where we at Kuro make a difference.

A different way of looking

Cutting curls is not just an ordinary haircut with a curl on top. It requires a different way of working and thinking: less heat, more feel. We first look at your curl pattern (from loose fairy waves to tight spirals), how your hair falls and moves, and only then does the scissor come in. Each curl is cut with natural movement in mind, so that the shape is right the way you wear it, not the way it hangs flat in the cutting chair.

This is what a curl cut with us looks like

  1. We start with your pattern. What curl type do you have, where is the volume, where does your hair naturally want to go? Do the curl type finder beforehand, or let us determine it in the chair.
  2. Cut to the curl. We cut with the fall and the shrinkage, so that the result looks good not only today, but also when you let it dry at home.
  3. Color that follows the pattern. A soft balayage or root blend that follows your curl pattern keeps the look beautiful for longer and makes the texture speak even more. That's Nancy's secret weapon.
  4. You go home with a plan. Which products, how much, and in what order: we go through the routine with you so that the curl of day one is also the curl of day thirty.
